He is a consultant physician and geriatrician with primary medical education in Nigeria, and extensive postgraduate training and experiences in United Kingdom, Europe and USA.

His field of expertise includes geriatric medicine and medical gerontology, covering comprehensive geriatric assessment of frail older adults, falls, functional decline, fragility fractures, osteoporosis, delirium, dementias and neurodegenerative disorders, geriatric oncology, clinical audits and research, with focus on healthy ageing, lifestyle and functional health, longevity medicine and medical education.

He is also involved in rehabilitation medicine, advance care planning and proactive palliative care for the terminally ill elderly folks. He has also been involved in infectious diseases, public health, tropical medicine and hygiene, with experiences extending to Telemedicine and Digital health.

He has professional affiliations, including membership and fellowships with medical colleges, societies and academies in Nigeria, Europe and USA. A community leader, medical educator and investor, with active interests in education, and health, including digital health and telemedicine.

CHILE OGUGUA and VIRGYKEM foundations have been actively involved in supporting medical education and providing grants for students with interests in fintechs, start ups and disruptive technologies in collaboration with Tekedia institute and other tertiary institutions.

Dr Chidiebere Nwokeocha is a medical doctor with an MBBS and a UK MSc in Public Health.

His interests include regenerative medicine research and the development of a health ecosystem that supports accurate patient information management, clinical review and continuity of care.
